Arm Bracers

Description

I made these arm bracers for the different LARP events I go to.
I started out with a sheet of raw leather, cut out the shapes and then pressed the linings on the sides into the wet leather. The lines on the red part were burned in with a pyrography tool. They were then hand-dyed with oil based paint and acrylics. The metal studs are just simple pyramid studs with little parts that fold back on the inside. Then came the lining of the inside with linen. I really wanted to accenruate the stitching on the top and bottom so I used contrasting white thread.
The middle strip of leather is just for extra strength and to evenly distribute the tightness of the lacing.

Also the top picture was just me playing around with my new phone's photo edititing applications. :) I'm not experienced in taking great pictures of craftwork and editing, so I welcome any tips
